Great Western Steel Buildings Barndominiums
Great Western Buildings offers superb structures to their customers, and they make the building process and as simple and straightforward as possible. Three prime examples of structures, provided for customers of the company include:
Maricopa Arizona Barndominium
A massive 50x90x20-foot building in Maricopa, Arizona was finished in 2018 and is a prime example of how upscale metal buildings can be when the right building is selected. The owner picked a metal building because of its longevity.
He has a two-story house on one end and can walk directly into his garage.
When he envisioned his home, he made sketches and gave them to Great Western to design the structure. He claims that the builders were there to answer his questions and help him bring his vision to life.
He and his sixteen-year-old son constructed the building on their own.
A few points of mention are:
- Great Western was very helpful and answered all questions rapidly
- Any time there were questions or concerns, the builder replied fast
Unfortunately, there are no interior pictures of the home, but it’s a stunning example of how cost-effective and easy to build these structures are.
Roseburg Oregon Barndominium
Found in Roseburg, Oregon there’s a stunning barndominium that offers a spacious size of 60’ x 100’ x 17’.
High ceilings make the already massive, 6,000-square-foot building feel larger. Josh, the owner of the property, states that Roseburg is one of the best places in the United States to live. He’s a construction worker who has done steel buildings his entire life.
He was familiar with Great Western Buildings, and he has used seven of their buildings already. Josh found that the cost of the metal and wood building was very close, but he chose metal buildings because he rents the buildings.
Due to not knowing what tenants would do inside of the structure, he went with metal due to it being fire-proof.
A few of the additions made were:
- High-value insulation of R-25
- Spray-foam insulation to add 200% to the strength of the building
- The building was fast and easy, with all parts included by Great Western Buildings
Sandy Utah Barndominium
Great Western Buildings also has a stunning project in Sandy, Utah that the company completed in 2020. The unit is 40’ x 65’ x 18’ and is now used as a barndominium, but it was built to be a massive sports garage.
The owner of the property wanted to have a place for his kids to do sports, and since he was always saying he was going to “work in the shed,” the family adopted the name for their barndo.
In the owner’s own words:
- The barndo was like an erector set
- The building was easy enough that his 10-year-old son helped him build it
- Great Western Buildings was always there to educate and help answer questions he had
Additionally, the owner said that many of the builders in Utah don’t consider the right snow loads or local requirements. However, Great Western wasn’t one of them. The owner did his due diligence on the company and chose them because he knew he could trust their expertise and craftsmanship.
Garage doors, massively tall ceilings and ample natural light from the structure make this structure perfect for sports and now as a barndominium.
Owners of all three structures had the ability to customize their space to meet their individual needs. From a large space for sporting activities to a two-story home and even multiple rental units, these structures offer it all.
Great Western Buildings offers a stunning profile of high-end buildings and kits that are designed for easy assembly, meet or exceed local building codes and are backed by a top-tier warranty.
